Don't Ask Doug Collins A Bad Question, Especially After A 12-Point Loss At Home

Doug Collins was none too pleased after last night's 111-99 home loss to the New Orleans Hornets. In the postgame press conference, Inquirer beat writer John Mitchell asked the coach whether or not he thought the team had tuned him out.

Uncomfortable hilarity ensued.

"Seriously. You're kidding me, right? You're digging. The answer to that is 'no.' That's not a good question, John. That's what you do when you lose games. That's where we go, that's the road we go down. It means they're not listening to me."

Tuned out or not, Collins’ charges are 2-6 in January. Ten of the Sixers’ next 11 games will be at the Wells Fargo Center so if there was ever a time to turn it around it would be now.
