Mason Will Miss Game 1 Vs. Rangers; Emery To Start

Berube: He's not 100 percent

The news just came down the pike that goalie Steve Mason will NOT make the start against the Rangers in game one of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals tomorrow night in New York.

Mason was injured late in the second period against the Penguins on Saturday afternoon. He went 33-18-7 this season with a 2.50 GAA and a .917 save percentage. Emery was 9-12-2 in his first season back with the organization with a 2.96 GAA and a .903 save percentage.

Emery is 7-2 in 10 career games versus the Rangers with a 1.87 GAA and a .936 save percentage.

Berube doesn't think it's a blow to the team but do you?
