As the Eagles prepare for the second round of the draft, Sal Paolantonio joins Mike Missanelli and discusses the first round. Sal Pal believes that Dion Jordan was in shock when he was drafted by Miami and not to the Eagles. Lane Johnson could have been a second choice if Dion Jordan was gone in the 4th round. In regards to the Eagles taking Lane Johnson in the 1st round, he is not thrilled, but it is a good foundational pick. Johnson fit’s a need for the team, but Sal Pal would’ve take Tavon Austin. As for tonight, Sal Pal says that the Jets have been making calls all day to possibly move up and Geno Smith is one of their interests. Could the Jets be trying to beat the Eagles to Geno Smith? If the Jets move up and take Geno Smith, the Eagles have to go defensive secondary according to Sal Pal.
