Tom Byrne is undoubtedly an up-and-coming sports radio personality in his hometown of Philadelphia with a one-of-a-kind, fast-moving, hard-hitting yet fair take on Philadelphia sports. "The Tom Byrne show" can be heard weeknights from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Tom is also the lead host of the 97.5 Eagles Post Game show. Whether it's about the Eagles, Phillies, Sixers, Flyers, the Big Five or his beloved Fighting Irish, Tom leaves no doubt where he stands on an issue. He is also a contributor on Fox29. 

 

Tom’s rise in the broadcasting industry is a testament to how bad he wanted to flourish in sports and to the talent he possesses as a broadcaster. He started out as the voice of the Scranton Royals, calling the play-by-play of his college’s basketball team. Upon graduating he came back to the Philadelphia area and got on-air at 1490-AM WBCB in Levittown. He also worked in the television studio of Phonebet TV and was a writer for The Sports Network before going full-time with 950 ESPN in April 2008. Tom started as the morning drive update anchor and weekend host before moving to nights as host of his own show.
