Sal Paolantonio’s decision to join forces with what was then 950 ESPN a couple years ago was one of the very key additions that helped truly legitimize in the minds of listeners what we were building as a station. There already was an excellent stable of hosts and analysts, but when Sal Pal came aboard it took the radio station to a whole new level. Sal hosts the Sal Pal Football Hour from 6:00 – 7:00 PM every Thursday night during the Fall. He is also a weekly guest of Mike Missanelli’s show on Tuesdays and Fridays at 5:15 PM. Sal is renown for his keen sense of what’s going on in the NFL, but as his appearances on Mikey Miss’ show often demonstrate Sal can discuss much more than just football. Sal is probably best known for his work as an NFL Correspondent for ESPN. Fans know that Sal will always be stationed at one of the best NFL games every weekend. He is also a host of ESPN’s NFL Match-Up show and a writer for ESPN.com. Sal’s background for many years was primarily rooted as a writer. He worked for the Philadelphia Inquirer covering both sports and city politics. Sal has written a variety of books, including his very successful How Football Explains America.
