Nick Kayal is a producer weekdays from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM and also serves as the afternoon drive SportsCenter Anchor from 2:00 - 6:00 PM. Nick also hosts every Sunday morning alongside Jason Ashworth starting at 8:00 AM on the Fanatic.
Nick was born and raised in The Lehigh Valley and graduated from Temple University in 2006. Immediately upon graduation at the age of 22 Nick joined ESPN Radio of The Lehigh Valley as a board-op, producer and update anchor. Coincidentally, this is the same station that colleague Harry Mayes worked at. Nick also served as a pre-game, half-time and post-game host for Lehigh University's Men's Basketball Program. He then joined a FOX Sports Radio affiliate in Allentown in 2007 and hosted his own morning drive program weekdays from 6:00 - 8:00 AM. Nick also did radio sales, but quickly realized that wasn't for him.
Nick loves talking, debating and arguing about Philadelphia sports and also roots for the Alabama Crimson Tide football team with unyielding passion. He even named his Yellow Lab "Saban". Yes, after Head Coach Nick Saban. When Nick is not on the air he enjoys good red wine (thanks to Tony Bruno), dabbling in sports wagering and working out. He also loves playing Madden on XBOX360. Nick says, "It is a privilege to work at Philly's 1st FM Sports Station and to work with sports talk legends like Tony Bruno and Mike Missanelli. It's truly special"
Nick and his wife Kristin were married in 2008 and reside in Bethlehem.
