- Joe DeCamara brings his passionate brand of insightful, edgy and entertaining Philadelphia sports talk to the Fanatic every weeknight from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. With a hard-charging style, Joe's enthusiasm for his hometown teams is obvious, yet his objective view of what is going on with them is abundantly clear. Monday, Tuesday & Thursday Joe hosts the hour solo. Wednesday he co-hosts with Ron Jaworski from Valleybrook Country Club and Friday he co-hosts with ESPN's Adam Caplan. Joe also hosts the Fanatic Pre-Game Show prior to all Eagles games with Jeremiah Trotter and Michael Bradley.
Joe is an original member of our sports format going back to October, 2005 when the old "Sports Talk 950" debuted in Philadelphia. He has hosted a variety of shows through the years including "Talk'in Baseball With Dutch" along with Darren Daulton, a baseball show with John Kruk, the 76ers Pre-Game Show and many others. He has also written blogs for the Fanatic's website.
Joe has also hosted many shows for national ESPN Radio across the entire nation, and is the co-author of a trivia book entitled "What Do You Know About Philadelphia Sports?" He has appeared a number of times as a guest commentator on TV and once had a sit-down interview with Joe Frazier detailing the former heavyweight champion's illustrious career. Joe has also taught a sports broadcasting course at his alma mater, Fairfield University, in Connecticut.
