Dan Schwartzman is one of the more opinioned sports radio hosts you’ll ever find. Always ready to get into a verbal scrap over a heated sports topic, Dan doesn’t mince words when he feels passionate about an issue. Dan is the host of the 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM show weeknights on 97.5 The Fanatic. Over the last few months Dan has hosted shows with a rotation of high-profile sports figures such as Pete Rose, Vai Sikahema, Brian Baldinger and Freddie Mitchell.
Dan’s path to 97.5 The Fanatic involved work both in and out of the Philadelphia market, but mixed in was actually a time when Dan considered giving up the dream to work in law! But the pull of sports radio was too great, and Dan worked all over the place to get where he is today. Dan hosted shows in Ohio and Alabama before coming back to the East Coast. He worked at 1450-AM in Atlantic City and then moved on to 920-AM in Trenton where he was both a host and the Program Director of the station. Dan stayed persistent to get into the Philadelphia market landing a big-time gig with what was then 950 ESPN in April, 2008. Dan has also been interviewed on MSNBC, CNN Headline News and CBS-3’s Sports Zone.
