Competitive and amateur runners are invited, dressed in costume, to participate in the second annual “Flyers Charities Halloween 5K and 1-Mile Walk” at the Wells Fargo Complex.
The event also features a free family fun area which includes interactive inflatables, face painters and pumpkin painting.
Prizing will be awarded to the top male and female runners in the 5K, along with prizes for best costumes. Flyers alumnus Bob Kelly and Flyers Public Address Announcer Lou Nolan will be among the costume contest judges.
Walk-up registration is welcome and interested participants can arrive beginning at 8 a.m. Event parking is free.
Net proceeds benefit Flyers Charities. Since its inception Comcast-Spectacor Charities, which encompasses Flyers Charities and Global Spectrum Charities, has contributed over $25 million to charity.
