Contest Rules

Listen to 950 ESPN for opportunities to win. The following rules apply to all WPEN contests unless the specific contest rules state otherwise. For on-air/call-in contests: Online listeners to the 950 ESPN web stream may experience a reception delay of up to one minute. Listening to the station’s over-the-air broadcast is the best way to participate in our on-air contests.

Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received. Non-cash prizes are not redeemable for cash. Station reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute for any prize with one of equal or greater value. Winners may not request prize substitution. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be claimed or used by any person other than the winner. Winners must claim their prizes in person at the Station offices within 30 days after the end of the contest. Prizes not claimed within the 30-day period will be forfeited.

All entrants must be at least 18 years old and legal residents of the United States residing in WPEN’s terrestrial listening area. Residents of NY and FL are not eligible to participate if the prize is valued at over $5,000. A winner will be disqualified if he/she or a member of his/her household has won a Station contest with a value over $50.00 within the previous 60 days. Winner will also be disqualified if he/she or a member of his/her household has won a prize or prize package from any Greater Media Philadelphia radio station (WBEN-FM, WMGK, WMMR, WNUW, WPEN) valued at One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or greater within the past 365 days. Employees (including their immediate families and members of the same household) of Greater Media Philadelphia, its affiliates (including Station), promotional sponsors, advertising and promotional agencies who do business with Station, and other radio stations in Station’s terrestrial listening area are not eligible to participate in any contest presented by Station. One entry per person; multiple entries will disqualify the entrant. No purchase or other consideration is necessary to participate in this contest.

Winners agree to release and hold harmless the promotion sponsors, Station, Greater Philadelphia Radio, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability and any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this contest and any prize won. Winners (and their guests, if any) will be required to sign a form releasing Station and its affiliated companies from all liability in connection with the contest and the award and use of the prize before claiming the prize.Disclaimer

Station will report the total value of each prize to the IRS and will furnish winners with a federal Form 1099. Winners must provide their social security number to Station for tax reporting purposes, and are solely responsible for payment of all taxes incurred as a result of the award of a prize.

Failure to conform to all contest rules, or any fraud or other illegal or inappropriate conduct on the part of a contestant, will result in the contestant's disqualification and forfeiture of any prize won. Station reserves the right to rule ineligible listeners who, in Station’s sole judgment, engage in abusive conduct with respect to any contest or promotion conducted by Station or its affiliates. Station reserves the right to make changes in the contest rules at any time, which changes will become effective upon announcement. By taking part in this contest, participants agree to be bound by these rules and all decisions of the judges, who are employees of Station and whose decisions with respect to all aspects of the contest are final and binding. Copies of written contest rules and the list of winners are available during regular business hours at the Station studio, One Bala Plaza, Suite 339, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004. Contest is void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

Greater Media Philadelphia (WBEN-FM, WMGK, WMMR, WPEN) – Borgata Texas Hold’em Contest Rules

NO PURCHASE OR OTHER CONSIDERATION IS NECESSARY TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS CONTEST; PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE CHANCES OF WINNING.

How to Enter for a Chance to Win
Contest runs from June 12, 2010 through August 30, 2010. All entries must be received by 11:59pm (ET) on August 29, 2010 to be eligible for a prize drawing. To enter, visit the website of any Greater Media Philadelphia radio station (www.ilikebenfm.com; www.wmgk.com; www.wmmr.com; www.975thefanatic.com) and either go to the Contests page or click on the box below the Texas Hold’em game to complete the online registration form and submit an entry You do not need to play the Texas Hold’ Em Game in order to enter. Playing the Game does not constitute an entry. Must be 21 to play and to enter. Contestants may enter as many times and on as many station websites as they like, but only one entry per person will be considered in each drawing. Individuals and households are only eligible to receive one (1) total prize during the entire contest period.

Each week during the contest period, each Greater Media Philadelphia radio station will randomly select a weekly winner from all entries received to date through the station website, for a total of four (4) winners each week. A selected winner will be disqualified if s/he has already won a prize for this contest from any Greater Media Philadelphia radio station.

All contest entries will become the property of Greater Media Philadelphia (Station) and will not be acknowledged or returned.

Prize
Thirty-six (36) total prizes will be awarded during the 8 week contest period. Thirty-two (32) of the prizes will be given away weekly, one per week per radio station, and the final 4 prizes will be given away as the grand prize at the conclusion of the contest (one per station). Weekly prizes will be awarded on eight consecutive Thursdays during the contest period. The Grand Prizes will be awarded on the final Friday of the contest period. Winners will be notified by phone or email, using the information provided in the entry form. Winners must confirm notification within 48 hours of initial contact, or they will be disqualified and another winner selected. The list of prizes is below.

Each of the Classic Room and Fiore Suite at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa accommodates two (2) people, double occupancy. Dinner is valued up to $250.00 and excludes gratuities. Spa treatment is valued at up to $__300____. Reservations for room, dinner and spa treatment must be made in advance and are subject to availability; black-out dates and other restrictions may apply. All services must be used by February 1, 2011. Credit card will be required at check-in to cover incidental expenses. All expenses not specifically listed as included in the prizes listed above (such as, without limitation, ground transportation, other meals, other entertainment) are the sole responsibility of the winner.

The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents and legal guardians, children and legal wards, grandparents, and grandchildren, including “in-laws.” Void where prohibited.

Release

By taking part in this contest, participants agree to be bound by these rules and all decisions of the judges, who are employees of Station and whose decisions with respect to all aspects of the contest are final and binding. Copies of written contest rules and the list of winners are available during regular business hours at the Station studio, One Bala Plaza, Suite 339, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, for 60 days after the contest concludes.

As a condition to participating in this Contest, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and all causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Contest shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action. The entrant and Station hereby waive any and all right to trial by jury. If any provision of these Official Rules is declared or found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be illegal, unenforceable or void, then such provision will be null and void but each other provision hereof not so affected will be enforced to the full extent permitted by applicable law.

PATCO Summer Freedom Sweepstakes

Sweepstakes begins on 7/1/10 and ends 7/31/10 at 5:00 PM. All entries must be received by this time to be eligible.

Consumer prize: One grand prize-winner will receive 2 tickets to the Creed Concert on 8/17/10 at the Susquehanna Bank Center and a PATCO Freedom Card containing $10.80 value. Prize is not transferable and is not redeemable for cash. Prize is valued at $85.00.

DRAWING: Winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. Drawing will be held on or about 8/2/10 by Greater Media Marketing, the contest administrator, whose decisions on all aspects of the contest will be final and binding.

NOTIFICATION: Prizewinner will be notified by phone on or about 8/3/10. The winner must claim the prize in person at the Greater Media Marketing offices, One Bala Plaza, Suite 424, Bala Cynwyd, PA, by 5PM on 8/15/10 by signing and returning an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release. In the event that the affidavit and the release are not returned by this time, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining entries. How to Enter for a Chance to Win
Listeners will have the opportunity to enter online between Monday, March 22, 2010 and Friday, April 16, 2010. To enter, visit the contest page on www.wmmr.com, www.wmgk.com, www.ilikebenfm.com or www.975thefanatic.com. Click on the TD Bank “Dining for a Year” Contest link. Complete the Online Entry Form, including your name and contact information (daytime phone number, home address, email address). All entries must be received by 11:59 pm on Friday, 4/16/10, to be eligible. Only one registration per person. One winner total will be chosen from the combined entries from each radio station website.

All contest entries will become the property of Greater Media Philadelphia and will not be acknowledged or returned.

On or about April 19, 2010, one entry will be selected as the winner from all eligible entries received.
Prize
One winner will receive (12) $100.00 (One Hundred Dollars) restaurant gift cards. “Dining for a Year” is defined as one gift certificate per month for 12 months. The gift cards are for Iron Hill Brewery ($600) and Panera Bread ($600).

Entry into any contest constitutes full permission for Greater Media Philadelphia and promotion sponsors and their respective affiliates to broadcast and/or to photograph or publish the participant's name, voice, recorded comments, biographical information, face and likeness without compensation.
Taxes
Greater Media Philadelphia will report the total value of each prize to the IRS and will furnish winners with a federal Form 1099. Winners must provide their social security number to Greater Media Philadelphia for tax reporting purposes, and are solely responsible for payment of all taxes incurred as a result of the award of a prize.

Failure to conform to all contest rules, or any fraud or other illegal or inappropriate conduct on the part of a contestant or on a contestant’s behalf, will result in the contestant's disqualification and forfeiture of any prize won. Greater Media Philadelphia reserves the right to rule ineligible listeners who, in Greater Media Philadelphia’s sole judgment, engage in abusive conduct with respect to any contest or promotion conducted by Greater Media Philadelphia or its affiliates. 97.5 The Fanatic “Win Missanelli’s Money” Contest Rules

How to Enter for a Chance to Win
Starting Friday, February 12, 2010, listen to 97.5 The Fanatic/950 ESPN for Mike Missanelli to ask a trivia question at approximately 2:30pm. The first caller (at 215-263-0950) to answer the question correctly will be asked to come into the studio the following weekday at 5:00pm to play "Win Missanelli's Money" live in studio with Mike Missanelli. If the contestant is not able to appear at the 97.5 The Fanatic studio as required, Mike Missanelli will play the contest game with a Station employee, but no prize money will be awarded (it will roll over to the next day).

To Win Missanelli's Money, the contestant will be asked a series of trivia questions (up to 5 questions) live on air with a 60 second (total) time limit. The 60 second clock will not begin until after the first question is read. Mike Missanelli will remain in a sound proof studio while the trivia questions are being asked and answered. After the contestant's 60 seconds is over, Mike Missanelli will be brought back into the on air studio and asked the same series of questions with the same 60 second time limit. The person with the most correct answers is declared the winner. If both Mike and the contestant have the same amount of correct answers, the person who took the least amount of time to answer the 5 questions will be declared the winner. If both Mike and the contestant have the same amount of correct answers in the same amount of time, a tie will be declared. The contestant will not win any money in the event of a tie.

Contestant qualification is subject to FULL phone call completion, and the verification of the caller’s name, address, home phone number, work/cell phone number and social security number, all of which must be provided prior to completion of the call. Contest calls will not be accepted at any other number.

Prize
The prize money will start out as $500 on the first day (Monday, February 15th). Whenever Mike Missanelli defeats or ties a contestant, the prize money will roll over to the next day and be added to the total. The contest will be played for eight days; Wednesday, February 24th will be the final in-studio day. (Tuesday, February 23rd will be the last day to call in for a chance to play.) The contestant on Wednesday, February 24th could potentially be playing for $4,000, if all other contestants have lost or tied. If a contestant defeats Mike Missanelli, the prize money for the next contestant goes back to $500.

Tuesday, February 16th - Prize money = $500 (or $1,000 if the first contestant loses or ties)
Wednesday, February 17th - Prize money = $500 (potentially up to $1,500)

Friday, February 19th - Prize money = $500 (potentially up to $2,500)
Monday, February 22nd - Prize money = $500 (potentially up to $3,000)
Tuesday, February 23rd - Prize money = $500 (potentially up to $3,500)
Wednesday, February 24th - Prize money = $500 (potentially up to $4,000)

Prizes will be paid by company check within four (4) weeks after contest concludes. 97.5 THE FANATIC/950 ESPN reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute any prize with one of equal or greater value. Winners may not request prize substitution. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be claimed or used by any person other than the winner. Winners must claim their prizes in person at the 97.5 THE FANATIC/950 ESPN offices as instructed by Station personnel. Prizes not claimed as instructed will be forfeited.
Eligibility
All entrants must be at least 18 years old and legal residents of the United States, living or working in 97.5 The Fanatic/950 ESPN’s total survey area (as defined by Arbitron). A winner will be disqualified if he/she or a member of his/her household has won a 97.5 THE FANATIC/950 ESPN contest with a value over $50.00 within the previous 60 days. Employees (including their immediate families and members of the same household) of Greater Media Philadelphia, its affiliates, promotion sponsors, advertising and promotional agencies who do business with 97.5 THE FANATIC/950 ESPN or any of the promotion sponsors, and other radio stations in 97.5 The Fanatic/950 ESPN’s metro survey area (as defined by Arbitron) are not eligible to participate in any contest presented by 97.5 THE FANATIC/950 ESPN. The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents and legal guardians, children and legal wards, grandparents, and grandchildren, including “in-laws.” One entry per person; multiple entries will disqualify the entrant.
