Without formally announcing it, general manager Paul Holmgren gave Laviolette a strong vote of confidence in Montreal on Monday.
Asked whether he planned to make a coaching change after the season, Holmgren was succinct.

Last week the flyers weren't looking so good before going on a three game win streak, Tocchet went on to say if the Flyers do make the playoffs he would love to see them matched up with The Penguins. Mike asked Tocchet if in the offseason the Flyers would target Shea Weber again and Tocchet did not rule it out. Finally Tocchett said it's ultimatly up to goaltending, if Bryzgolov can get hot anything is possible.

Flyers Coach Peter Laviolette Joins Mike To Talk About How The Flyers Are Responding To The Pressure To Make The Playoffs

Laviolette says that the Flyers can use last night's victory to build momentum. He also says that Voracek did the right thing by sticking up for his Captain.

Claude Giroux Emotional After Flyers Surprising Come From Behind Win

Claude Giroux talks about the Flyers playing with heart, the emotional nature of the win, and how a big win like this does not stop him from looking at the standings. He Puts This Season On The Players And Them Not Responding.

Matt Barnaby joins Jon and Sean to discuss the Flyers and whether or not it is time for a change in head coaching. Barnaby believes that Lavi is not the blame. When things go wrong, the coach is the first person to be blamed but this season can be blamed on the players and the fact that they are not responding. This Flyers team is alot better than they are playing. Giroux has had a bad season and Hartnell is only a 38 goal player according to Barnaby. This team is still good enough to compete but they have not been consistent.

Tocchet: "Everyone wants to see the Flyers out of the playoffs. The term ‘do or die’ has been thrown around a lot in relation to the Flyers season lately but as the Orange and Black prepare for the stretch run it’s abundantly clear that every game matters.
Harry Mayes crunched the numbers and declared that the Flyers have to go 11-4-2 down the stretch for them to sneak into the playoffs. Former Flyer Rick Tocchet joined Tony Bruno and Mayes to break down the Flyers chances going forward.
While not outright comparing the two teams, Tocchet pointed to Pittsburgh to show that teams have the ability to go on extended winning streaks. He is convinced that this week will determine if the Flyers make the playoffs or not.
Tocchet also believes that they need to change up their defensive approach if they are going to enjoy success down the stretch and into the postseason.
